TYPICAL PRODUCTS
Besides producing Chianti Classico wine, White wine, IGT wines and Extra virgin olive oil, Villa Francesca selects other products of the very highest quality. Such products range from the Colli Fiorentini Chianti DOCG wine, to Asti Spumante DOCG, from Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG to Chardonnay, from liqeur-like Vinsanto to Vinsanto in the cask, from 3-year-old Grappa to 10-year-old Brandy, from standard Modenese balsamic vinegar (aged for 2 years) to reserve (aged for 4 years) to Honey, from sachets of aromatic herbs to tea.

Villa Francesca Chianti Classico Riserva 95:
This is an excellent red wine, with its own identity. Full bodied wine, dry yet fruity, soft, with an aroma of vanilla, perfectly tannic wine, for wine  lovers.
Varieties: Canaiolo, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Colorino
Flavor: Dry, persistent, with fresh woody scent and vanilla. Full-bodied, perfectly tannic wine.
Soil and training system: We use the same method of the Brunello di Montalcino. Controlled temperature fermentation. Ageing in cask for at least three years and refining in bottles for at least six months.

Villa Francesca Chianti Classico Riserva 85:
This is an old wine but it is an excellent riserva. Full bodied wine, perfectly tannic wine, very intense aroma, for wine lovers.
Varieties: Canaiolo, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Colorino
Flavor: Dry, full bodied wine, perfectly tannic with.aroma of vanilla and lightly fruity.
Soil and training system: we use the same method of the Brunello di Montalcino. Controlled temperature fermentation. Ageing in casks for at least three years and refining in bottles for at least six months.

Villa Francesca Chianti Colli Fiorentini

Varieties: Canaiolo, Sangiovese, Trebbiano/Malvasia, Cabernet Sauvignon
Flavor: It has a full-bodied taste, tannic but smooth.It has a fruity flavour Presents a fine and intense aroma.The color is ruby.
Soil and training system: Controlled temperature fermentation. Ageing in casks for at least one year and refining in bottles for at least 6 months.

Villa Francesca Bianco della Lega

Varieties: Malvasia, Trebbiano, Chardonnay
Flavor: The taste is sparkling, dry, fresh and elegant. The fragrance is fruity, intense and elegant. The color is pale-yellow with green reflexes.
Soil and training system: Controlled temperature fermentation. Refining in bottles for at least three months.
Details: nr. of bottles: 3000, alcohol: 11%

Villa Francesca Rosso di Eleonora

Excellent red wine, with its own identity. Full bodied wine, dry yet fruity, soft, perfectly tannic wine.

Varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia/Trebbiano, Colorino
Color: the color is ruby
Flavor: dry, full bodied wine, with aroma of Vanilla. It presents a fine and intense aroma.
Soil and training system: controlled temperature fermentation. Ageing in casks for three years and refining in bottles for at least one years.
Details: alcohol 12% at least.
Villa Francesca Vin Santo Liquoroso:
Vin Santo is a dessert wine. It needs a long time to became a Vin Santo. It is aged in little barriques for years.
It is produced with Trebbiano and Malvasia. It has a pale-yellow color, a wood flavour and a sweet taste.
Varieties: Malvasia, Trebbiano and other varietis
Flavor: wood flavour, pale-yellow color, sweet taste.
Details: nr. of bottles: 8000, alcohol:15-17%
Villa Francesca Vin Santo 1985:
Vin Santo is a dessert wine. It needs a long time to became a Vin Santo. It is aged in little barriques for years.
Varieties: Malvasia, Trebbiano
Flavor: it has a dry taste, pale-yellow color, wood flavour.
Details: nr. of bottles: 8000, alcohol: 15-17%
Villa Francesca Brandy:
This brandy is aged for 10 years in oak casks. The color is bronze.
It has a light taste.
Flavor: it presents an aroma of flowers.
Details: alcohol: 40-42%
Villa Francesca Grappa:
This grappa is 3 years in oak casks aged. It is made from fermented grape juice. The color is pale-yellow.
Very soft.
Flavor: it presents an aroma of flowers.
Details: alcohol: 40-42%


Villa Francesca Asti Spumante:

Our Asti sparkling-wine is selected by Giovanni Mari professional Sommelier.
This Asti is a DOCG and is made with white muscat.
Color: pale-yellow
Details: alcohol 7-8%

Chardonnay spumante:
The chardonnay sparkling wine is selected by Giovanni Mari professional Sommelier.
This chardonnay is from Valdobbiadene. It has an half-dry taste.

Prosecco spumante:
The prosecco sparkling wine is selected by Giovanni Mari professional Sommelier.
This prosecco is from Valdobbiadene. It has a dry taste.

Olio Extravergine di Oliva:

Typical of the Chianti region, cold squeezing, stone grinding. It tastes like fruit, with a bitter flavour. It is unfiltrate.

Varieties: Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino, Pendolino.

Color: green with shades of gold-yellow.

Flavor: fruity, intense aroma

Aceto Balsamico Riserva: This product is selected by Giovanni Mari in Modena. This balsamic vinagre is 4 years in oak casks aged.
It tastes like fruit.

It tastes like fruit.
